We were very happy with our wedding at Hollin Hall/Meeting House. Nina is very responsive and helpful and offered up a lot of suggestions and tips...When the weather was forecasting possible rain for our outdoor ceremony she had chairs set up both inside and outside so that we could move the ceremony last minute if necessary and it did turn out to be necessary when it started raining 30 minutes beforehand. We moved the ceremony inside and it was actually just as beautiful if not more so than outside would have been. They have beautiful grounds and we were able to get a lot of great photos outside even despite the rain. It was also nice having Hollin Hall for our guests to go to for the cocktail hour while they changed over the Meeting House for the reception.... Mrs. KEP
Hello, this is Laura B, stepmom of RBE. I've never thanked you properly for everything you did for Rachel and Dan's wedding in May. It was such a wonderful wedding, and you did an amazing job! Though belated, please accept our heartfelt thanks for all you did. It was a pleasure meeting you, and we wish you the best. On a scale of one to five (five being the highest) we rate our experience 5. I can't think of anything that is necessary to improve what is already an incredibly beautiful and tranquil location. The grounds give such a sense of peace and desire to stay as long as possible.
We have had the most beautiful wedding in Hollin Hall with your caring help. All of our guests were very much impressed with the whole ceremony and the grounds of Hollin Hall. But most of all both Jason and I are deeply grateful for your invaluable help till the last minute. Our wedding ceremony wouldn't have been better than this. On a scale of 1 to 5, we would rate you a 5 ++. I don't think I would change a thing. Everything was perfect. I would strongly recommend MVUC to anyone. Your experience and caring is very much appreciated by Patricia and I. We could not have hoped for a better experience. Well, I guess the rain was a problem, but that just gave you and Susan (Barrett's of Alexandria) the opportunity to prove that you could make the entire event just as perfect rain or shine. Greg and I wanted to thank you for all of the help you provided for our wedding at Hollin Hall. Everything ran so smoothly, especially with your help, all throughout the planning process, ceremony, and reception. We are so happy with how the wedding turned out, even better than we expected, and we have received numerous compliments from our guests saying how beautiful the night was. I only wish the night hadn't flown by so there was more time to enjoy it! We couldn't have picked a better location, and we will definitely recommend Hollin Hall. Rosalie and Greg
Nina, The wedding and the reception and EVERYTHING was absolutely wonderful. Thank you for all your help. The Manor was beautiful, the children's area perfect. Everything was great.
